Prof. John Bateman has a long history of research on the molecular pathology human inherited cartilage and bone diseases and was responsible for several of the important early papers on the molecular basis of osteogenesis imperfecta and chondrodyplasias. His recent work on collagen X mutations in MCDS has defined new mechanisms of mutant RNA quality control and demonstrated a role for the UPR.

Dr. Daniele Belluoccio is an expert in microarray analysis and has developed the microdissection and microarray methods.

Dr. Richard Wilson is a senior postdoctoral researcher, has developed the MCRI cartilage proteomics approach of 2D SDS-PAGE and MALDI-MS protein identification.
